Job Title: IT Program Manager Agile & Enterprise Projects
Location: Austin Texas(Hybrid-Local to Austin only)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Required Qualifications: - Skilled in managing projects with implementations across large organizations. Experience includes:
- Developing and managing project plans
- Documenting risks issues and contingency plans
- Proven ability to:
- Research gather assemble correlate and analyze facts
- Devise solutions to complex and difficult problems
- Prepare concise analytical reports
- Experience overseeing the development of SDLC artifacts and ensuring business requirements are translated into technical specifications. Ability to guide and facilitate the full SDLC process.
- Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining strong relationships with multiple project sponsors and stakeholders. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential.
- Ability to:
- Appropriately summarize and escalate issues
- Develop and present weekly status updates
- Conduct regular project team meetings
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience with Agile methodology including:
- Overseeing and tracking development progress
- Ensuring project assignments align with project timelines
- Agile project management experience especially managing feature-driven sprints.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience implementing and using Agile methodologies and best practices for one or more State of Texas agencies.
- Prior experience in healthcare or public health domains.
- PMP Certification.
Responsibilities: - Lead large-scale IT projects from initiation through implementation ensuring scope budget and timelines are met.
- Create manage and maintain project documentation including project plans issue and risk logs status reports and communication strategies.
- Facilitate effective collaboration and communication across cross-functional teams business stakeholders and vendors.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to meet goals including sprint planning retrospectives and iterative releases.
- Translate business requirements into actionable tasks and ensure alignment with technical teams and architecture guidelines.
- Regularly communicate project status to senior leadership stakeholders and executive sponsors.
- Support continuous improvement of Agile processes foster team accountability and ensure best practices in project delivery.
