We are currently seeking passionate individuals to join our team as Admissions Counsellors.
Role Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess student admissions applications and provide feedback.
- Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions to guide students in their education choices.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of educational programs and institutions.
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies for potential students.
- Provide information on eligibility requirements and application procedures.
- Assist students in preparing necessary documentation for their applications.
- Monitor application progress and communicate updates to students.
- Coordinate and conduct informational seminars and workshops.
- Respond to student inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
- Build and maintain relationships with educational institutions and stakeholders.
- Gather and analyze market trends to enhance counselling strategies.
- Utilize CRM software to track student interactions and progress.
- Ensure compliance with all regulations and standards for educational admissions.
- Provide training and support to junior counsellors and interns.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall strategy of the department.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Education Business Psychology or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in admissions counselling or related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with CRM systems is an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong understanding of educational programs at various institutions.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Adaptable to changing environments and situations.
- Detail-oriented with a strong organizational skill set.
- Ability to engage and motivate students effectively.
- Strong sales and marketing skills are preferred.
- Willingness to attend training and workshops as necessary.
- Knowledge of local and international education systems is an advantage.
- Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus.
