Tiverton is seeking a proactive and resourceful Senior Analyst Portfolio Operations who can provide the highest-quality financial modeling operational and accounting acumen for Tiverton and its related portfolio companies. This position will be an integral part of bridging deal execution and management oversight with operational excellence. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver who is hands-on capable of summarizing key data and an effective communicator. They should possess the drive and skills to develop strategic frameworks identify business improvement opportunities and implement solutions with stakeholder buy-in. The successful Senior Analyst Portfolio Operations will be self-motivated and energized by working with a group of thoughtful smart and skilled colleagues.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with the portfolio company leadership to build out best-in-class accounting and financial processes including 3 to 5-year strategic plans financial forecasts and board reporting
- Monitor net working capital credit facilities and cash management including a rolling 13-week cash forecast
- Collaborate with deal teams and portfolio company leadership to develop an annual budget forecast actuals-to-budget with variance analysis and commentary
- Conduct in-depth analysis of portfolio company performance identifying areas for improvement and growth opportunities
- Develop various industry leading KPIs dashboards other metrics for board presentations
- Partner with leadership to develop and implement of strategic plans to maximize investment returns
- Co-lead key strategic value creation ideas post-acquisition synergies and capital expenditures optimization
- Develop and participate in portfolio companies process optimization system implementation and internal control projects/enhancements
Qualifications :
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Bachelors degree in accounting finance economics business or other related majors
- CPA or masters degree preferred
- 2-4 years of experience in public accounting financial analysis operations corporate strategy or a management consulting role; agriculture or private equity industry experience is a plus
- Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Dedicated work ethic commitment to enhancing the team and problem-solving skills
- Entrepreneurial attitude and desire to work for a dynamic and successful organization
- Deep understanding of financial statements mechanics and enterprise value in a private equity context
- A willingness to travel as needed (potential to be 20%-30%)
