Structural Revit Designer
Job Description
AECOM seeks to hire a Structural Revit Designer for our Chelmsford MA office. This position is intended to support structural and other disciplines with the model and drawing production of a variety of new and retrofit facilities to support the water business line such as Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants.
- Create initial Revit model project setup with workflow documents.
- Support the development of the Revit model for each project/discipline.
- Work as part of a BIM/Revit support team to achieve consistent results.
- Support the daily Revit model management administration and maintenance.
- Support the Structural Engineer with the drawing development and layout.
- Help to develop BIM Content: Families such as parametric formula nested and type catalogs.
- Work with vendors on content download and update to Company Standards.
- Support linked views and others in multiple models situation.
- Ability to meet quality schedule and budget expectations.
- Integrate REVIT products with other applications (Autodesk Construction Cost Estimation).
- Prepare design drawings plans sections details and schedules.
- Coordinate with other in-house engineering disciplines as needed.
- Must be a highly motivated self-starter.
Qualifications :
Minimum Requirements:
- BA/BS Degree 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Experience in Revit Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) BIM360 Navisworks etc.
- Experience in AutoCAD.
- Ability to work with a diverse team located in the Chelmsford Design Center.
- Due to the nature of this role U.S. Citizenship is required.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy of work.
- Experienced self-directed professional.
- Detail-oriented and technical yet experienced enough to see the big picture.
