Location: Ontario CA (Hybrid Flex Must Reside Within 1 Hour)
Position Type: Full-Time Entry to Mid-Level
Compensation: $100000 - $200000 OTE (based on experience performance bonuses)

What Youll Be Doing

As an Associate Attorney youll handle an active caseload in the areas of workers compensation and general liability defense. Youll receive hands-on exposure to real litigation and direct access to decision-makers no endless paperwork silos here.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing case files from intake through resolution

  • Preparing legal correspondence discovery motions and pleadings

  • Representing clients in depositions hearings and settlement conferences

  • Collaborating closely with partners paralegals and clients on case strategy

  • Meeting reasonable billable targets without sacrificing work-life balance

What Were Looking For

Required:

  • Active membership in the California State Bar (in good standing)

  • Excellent writing research and oral advocacy skills

  • Ability to independently manage assignments while working in a team-driven environment

  • Professionalism punctuality and a proactive mindset

Preferred but not required:

  • 2-5 years of workers comp or insurance defense experience

  • Strong interest in litigation and client advocacy

  • Familiarity with California legal procedures and filings

  • Recent law school graduates with strong internship or clerkship experience are encouraged to apply
