As a Lead Software Engineer you will play a critical role in the design development testing and deployment of high-performance scalable software applications. This hands-on engineering position requires strong technical expertise leadership capabilities and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions. You will collaborate across teams to drive technical innovation mentor junior engineers and ensure adherence to best practices in software development and automation.

What Youll Do:

• Design develop and code high-quality software applications using diverse programming languages.

• Collaborate with engineers architects and stakeholders to gather requirements estimate tasks and design solutions.

• Develop and execute automated test plans; debug and fix code issues efficiently.

• Troubleshoot and resolve application and environment problems.

• Support and facilitate seamless software deployment processes.

• Mentor junior team members and contribute to long-term technical strategies.

What Youll Bring:

• Proven problem-solving skills with hands-on experience in Java Spring Boot Kafka (event-driven programming) Cassandra Kubernetes and Azure cloud fundamentals.

• Expertise in troubleshooting complex software issues and delivering effective solutions.

• Strong communication skills to clearly explain technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.

• Leadership abilities to guide motivate and uphold engineering standards within the team.

• Proficient in front-end technologies such as JavaScript Angular and CSS to build dynamic and responsive user interfaces.

• Experienced in prompt engineering with AI tools to optimize and enhance intelligent interactions and automation.

• 5 years of software development experience with a focus on design and coding.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.

Our Lead Software Engineering earns between $128400-$192600 USD Annual not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography experience expertise and education/training.
