A reputable and community-oriented veterinary practice in Westland Michigan is seeking a compassionate and motivated Associate Veterinarian (DVM) to join its collaborative team. This full-service small animal hospital is known for delivering exceptional patient care fostering a supportive work environment and prioritizing work-life balance for its team.
The Associate Veterinarian will:
Provide comprehensive care to small animals including diagnostics treatment plans and surgery
Conduct routine wellness exams vaccinations and dental procedures
Utilize modern diagnostic tools including digital X-rays ultrasound and in-house lab testing
Collaborate with a team of experienced veterinarians technicians and support staff
Educate clients on preventive health care and treatment recommendations
Work a flexible schedule that supports a balanced lifestyle and long-term career satisfaction
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution
Active or eligible Michigan veterinary license
Excellent communication and client-service skills
Surgical proficiency preferred but not required
Passion for providing high-quality care and building lasting client relationships
Team-oriented mindset and a commitment to continuous learning
