AWS Finance seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Networking Finance FP&A team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with Networking and broader Infrastructure Finance team supporting key investment decisions developing controllership around various FP&A processes and support new initiatives.

The candidate will be working closely with business finance teams and senior leadership across AWS Infrastructure and will be leading end to end processes around key planning and reporting cycles.
Key job responsibilities - Facilitating financial review meetings with senior business and finance leadership to support decision making. - Maintain and improve existing finance processes to ensure data integrity efficient and insightful analysis. - Play a critical role in cost management controllership business case development decision-making and metrics development - Uses solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models interpret data draw conclusions and make recommendations that deliver results drive improvements and influence leaders - Driver controllership around new initiatives such as Generative AI investments automation projects and technology transition initiatives reporting
- Bachelors degree in finance accounting business economics or a related analytical field (e.g. engineering math computer science) - 3 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
- 4 years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience - MBA or CPA - Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards) - 3 years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience - 2 years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
