A well-established partner veterinary hospital in Leominster MA is seeking a passionate and skilled Associate Veterinarian to join their dynamic team. Role Overview: The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical care to companion animals. Working alongside a compassionate team the veterinarian will perform a variety of duties including diagnostics surgeries wellness exams and client education. This position offers the opportunity to work in a modern well-equipped facility with a team dedicated to excellence in veterinary care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough physical examinations diagnostic tests and create treatment plans.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions including preventative care and wellness exams.
- Perform surgeries and other procedures with an emphasis on patient safety.
- Educate clients on their pets health treatment options and preventative care strategies.
- Maintain accurate medical records ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with the clinic team to provide exceptional care to patients.
Qualifications:
- DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
- Active veterinary license to practice in Massachusetts (or ability to obtain licensure).
- At least 12 years of experience in general practice although new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong diagnostic surgical and communication skills.
- Compassionate approach to animal care and client education.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
