Responsibilities
- Highly skilled & experienced Acute Care Neurosurgeonwith a focus on trauma and complex spine.
- Spine Fellowship training is preferred
- All Call based model High-acuity Level I Trauma support (No RVU requirements).
- 10 Primary Call Shifts 4 Back-up Call Shifts per month.
- Provideinpatient and limited outpatient care for emergent cases.
- Evaluate new consults and outside transfers.
- Operates on urgent and emergent conditions including cranial and spinal trauma.
- Collaborate with ICU ED orthopedic neurology and trauma surgery teams.
- Supervise and support residents APPs and nursing staff as needed.
- 6-15 consults per 24 hour period.
Qualifications
- American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Specified Area of Medical Specialty
- A valid and unrestricted state medical license or license-eligible
