Job Description/Responsibilities
- Perform suspension and steering diagnosis and repair basic brake diagnosis and repair alignments tire repair fluid maintenance exchange tire pressure monitoring system repairs replacement battery check and installation manufacture recalls if certification level required is obtained.
- Make accurate use of the multi-point inspection form on each vehicle.
- Replace and balance tires
- Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership and factory instructions and standards
- Examine assigned vehicles to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
- Understands and complete required Company training including compliance with federal state and local regulations such as hazardous waste disposal OSHA Right-to-Know etc.
- Utilize product and technical training as assigned by the manufacturer and management.
- Continuously expand your knowledge of new technology to gain additional practice.
- Keep a clean safe workplace
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School diploma or GED certificate
- Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record
- ASE Certification (required)
- Must pass pre-employment screening (background)
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Must possess basic automotive tools
- Ability to identify the problem quickly
- Good knowledge of automobiles
- Effective analytical and communication skills
- Good reading computer and mathematics skills
- Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
