Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Field Engineer to participate and learn all activities related to managing job sites for large-scale industrial commercial multi-family and/or institutional projects. The Field Engineer will assist Superintendents in cost management scheduling quality assurance and risk management. This position is located in our Madison WI office.
Responsibilities
- Assist with coordinating the efforts of multiple trades.
- Participate in project inspections and complete daily reports.
- Monitor progress of work and notify Superintendent of any delays.
- Assist with communication and coordination with municipal officials.
- Assist with project punch-list and oversee completion of all project disciplines.
- MUST LIVE IN OR WITHIN AN HOUR FROM MADISON WISCONSIN
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management Building Construction Civil Engineering or related degree.
- Zero to two years experience in the construction industry preferably in multi-family and/or commercial/industrial buildings.
- Carpentry or other construction experience a plus.
- Able to communicate effectively and work productively with others.
- Other success factors include attention to detail problem solving reliability initiative positive attitude professionalism and an eagerness to learn.
- Ability to use construction management software such as Procore Timberline Bluebeam CMiC PlanGrid Textura and Field ID.
- Ability to use the internet and Microsoft Office 365.
