We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Operations Intern to support our Aniplex division with various tasks. This internship provides hands-on experience offering valuable insights into corporate financial practices. The intern will assist with daily accounting tasks financial reporting data entry and reconciliation while learning how to apply accounting principles in a professional environment. Additional administrative tasks may be assigned as needed.
This will be a fully in-person internship at our Santa Monica office with 10-16 hours per week on Tuesdays & Thursdays.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with monthly closing tasks and procedures
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate accounting records in a timely manner
- Support and organize monthly sales reports
- Track and investigate inventory discrepancies
- Assist with monthly bank account and corporate card reconciliations
- Support other administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
- Microsoft Office: Excel proficiency
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Communication skills both written and verbal
- Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Willingness to learn quickly and adapt
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Currently pursuing a bachelors degree in related field or in progress (Accounting Finance Business Economics etc.) but not required
Preferred Qualifications
- Japanese bilingual is a plus
- Minimum of 1 year of office experience (internships or part-time roles acceptable)
The target hourly rate for this internship is $19.00 per hour. The individual will be paid hourly and eligible for overtime.
