Job Title: Assistant Provost Institutional Effectiveness
Division: Academic Affairs

The assistant provost for institutional effectiveness will lead efforts to enhance institutional effectiveness by leveraging data for strategic planning assessment and continuous improvement. This position will oversee accreditation processes institutional research and assessment strategies to ensure compliance and operational excellence.

Academic Leadership
Teaching and Learning
- Collaborates with faculty staff academic administrators the Lindenwood Learning Academy and University curriculum and assessment committees to implement assessment policies practices and systems
- Assesses co-curricular activities and ensures alignment with institutional goals
Leadership and Strategic Thinking
- Provides leadership and coordination for maintaining institutional accreditation including preparation of major accreditation reports and annual updates to the Higher Learning Commission (HLC)
- Supports University-wide strategic planning including the development and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Ensures institutional effectiveness through systematic data collection analysis and application to drive continuous improvement and strategic initiatives
- Plays a pivotal role in advancing institutional effectiveness at Lindenwood University
- Models supports and holds others accountable to the Universitys values
Service
Human Resources Management
- Recruits interviews hires and monitors performance of department staff
- Conducts annual employee performance evaluations based on clear department standards
Administrative Duties
- Oversees institutional accreditation studies and visits ensuring adherence to standards and expectations
- Plans organizes and monitors programs for effectiveness in alignment with accreditation standards
- Oversees the collection analysis reporting dissemination and archiving of assessment data to support accreditation program review and resource planning
- Promotes best practices in data governance quality assurance and institutional research methodologies

Required Qualifications An equivalent combination of education training and experience will be considered. Additional requirements may be designated by position.
- Masters degree from an accredited institution required
- Terminal degree preferred
- Previous experience 5-7 years preferred as a faculty member and/or in academic administration
- Prior work experience with academic policies and procedures in a university setting
