Occupational Therapist (Full-Time)
Position Overview:
The Northwest Tri-County Intermediate Unit (IU5) is seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OT). The OT serves as a functioning member of the educational team with duties to include: screening evaluation educational programs transition planning therapeutic intervention and exit planning for students identified with or suspected of having disabilities that interfere with school performance. This is a tri-county itinerant position.
Start Date: 2025-2026 school year starting August 11th 2025

Work Days: 194 work days per school
180 instructional days 7 in-service days 7 days for summer work working on a stretch calendar
PTO: 10.5 paid sick days 3 Personal Days 2 Emergency Days per school year (based on start date)

Required Qualifications:
- PA Licensure in Occupational Therapy
Essential Functions:
- Work with other disciplines to ensure team understanding of student occupational performance strengths and needs through evaluation educational program planning and service delivery.
- Evaluates the students ability and formulates the students occupational profile through a variety of functional behavioral and standardized assessments skilled observation checklists histories and interviews.
- Interprets evaluation results into a comprehensive written report which reflects strengths and challenges to students participation in the educational environment directs program development and guides evidence based intervention.
