Basic Skills:
- Modeling and Simulation experience in one of the following areas of CAE (Computer Aided Engineering): Computational Fluid Dynamics Heat transfer Chemical reactions Finite element analysis or structural analysis Plasma physics Computational Chemistry Electromagnetics Magnetostatics Chemistry
- Candidates from Engineering or Physics background.
Responsibilities
- Develop Simulation models to analyze the problems related to one or more of the following: flow heat transfer chemical reactions FEA plasma physics computational chemistry electromagnetics magnetostatics
- Interpret analysis results with respect to results obtained by lab testing procedures converting these results into practical design suggestions
- Works on difficult CAE problems to assist product development
- Works on identifying product design and development problems where CAE analysis can accelerate development
- Proactively validates/correlates results with real world data and makes model improvements as deemed necessary
- Generates high-level engineering test reports and presents CAE results/conclusions to the design/process engineering community
- Very good understanding of business unit processes and hardware; good knowledge of data analysis techniques to summarize CAE data
- Ability to interact effectively with a broad range of colleagues such as hardware engineers process engineers program managers and computational scientists
- Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services. Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions. Works independently receives minimal guidance.
Job Specific Knowledge
- Must have in-depth knowledge of one or more of flow heat transfer chemical reactions FEA plasma physics computational chemistry electromagnetics magnetostatics
- Expert user of commercially available CAE and analysis tools
- Excellent communication skills Knowledge in writing reports.
- A technical mindset with great attention to detail
- Experience with programming (Matlab Python C/C )
- Experience with machine learning statistics and design of experiments is a plus
- Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing equipment and processes (especially CVD and ALD processes) and work experience in semiconductor industry is plus
Qualifications
- MS/ in one of the following disciplines: Mechanical / Chemical / Aeronautical / Physics / Chemistry / Material Science / Applied Mechanics / Electrical / Chemistry or related technical discipline or the equivalent combination of education and related experience

- Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines

- Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
