Following a major investment in our Nuneaton site our cheese packing site which has seen the addition of 13 new packaging lines were excited to offer an opportunity for aShift Manager(internally known as aShift Lead) to join our expanding team and make a real impact.

Our Nuneaton facility is a dynamic and fast-paced environment equipped with a wide range of technologies that allow us to pack both branded and private label cheese products in multiple formats from snacking portions to sliced grated and block cheese.

Shift Pattern: 24/7 rostered working days & nights 165 shifts per year.

YOULL MAKE CONTRIBUTIONS THAT MATTER BY

• Leading and motivating a team of 50 to deliver production targets efficiently and safely across 13 production lines.
• Driving operational excellence by minimising waste maximising line uptime and ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards.
• Acting as a key decision-maker during shifts troubleshooting issues and ensuring proactive planning to avoid disruptions.
• Championing Saputos values Inclusive agenda and Manufacturing Performance System (MPS) to build a high-performing inclusive team culture.

YOURE BEST SUITED FOR THE ROLE IF YOU HAVE

• Experience in a manufacturing industry including a production management role.
• Strong knowledge of and experience using Lean tools (e.g. SIC 5S GEMBA) HACCP and health & safety standards (IOSH Intermediate Food Hygiene).
• Proven leadership and coaching skills with the ability to inspire develop and manage a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication problem-solving and IT skills with a hands-on approach to manufacturing and continuous improvement.
