Job Description
Overview
i3 is seeking a Naval Aviation Electronics Intermediate Level Technician (ATI) Subject Matter Expert (SME) with CASS calibration and High Power Device Test Sub System (HPDTS) experience to assist a software development team in developing virtual training solutions for Aviation Electronics Intermediate Level Technician (ATI) courses. The candidate must be able to translate aviation terminology procedures and operations for the Virtual Training Suite (VTS) development team. The candidate would also assist with product progress reporting scheduling and customer (stakeholder) interface.
Pay Range $80000-$100000
The pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data geographic location and any applicable laws.
Responsibilities
Candidates should possess excellent communication and analytical skills; knowledge of interactive multimedia instruction is a plus. The candidate will work closely with customers supervisors instructional systems designers software designers software engineers and 3D artists to create interactive mobile web augmented reality virtual reality desktop training systems serious games and distributed learning simulations.
The candidate will provide subject matter expertise through design meetings storyboard creation and software content validation. The candidate should be able to adapt to changing workloads quickly and collaborate with the team and other business units to deliver software solutions following best practices to ensure a high-quality standard. This fast-paced work environment offers ample room for creativity expression and growth.
Position Location: Orlando FL; Huntsville AL; Remote
CONUS Travel required: Less than 25%
Qualifications
Required Experience:
- Bachelors degree plus at least eight years of applicable experience - or - an associate degree plus at least 8-10 years of relevant experience in the following NECs (I26A I33A). Additional years of experience may be substituted for degree.
- Experience serving as an ATI within the fleet.
- An active SECRET security clearance is preferred or the ability to obtain and maintain.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite
Preferred Experience:
- Military experience as an instructor.
- Familiarity with NETC.
- Familiarity with software development 3D creation and gaming is a plus.
