  • 27711 per annum (pro rata if part time)

Your role and responsibilities

You will:

  • oversee and coordinate daily administrative operations including HR finance and IT processes ensuring compliance with council policies and relevant legislation
  • manage specialist systems and databases maintaining data integrity system security and supporting reporting and analysis needs
  • provide high-level administrative support including complex diary management meeting preparation minute-taking and event coordination
  • support team leadership and development including onboarding training and performance monitoring
  • contribute to project delivery conducting research tracking progress and supporting Health and Safety compliance activities
  • act as a key communication link drafting internal and external correspondence advising on procedures and fostering strong stakeholder relationships.

You will need:

  • strong minute-taking and documentation skills with the ability to accurately capture and summarise complex discussions.
  • excellent IT proficiency including experience with specialist systems and Microsoft Office tools supporting efficient and accurate administrative work.
  • to be an effective communicator and team player able to build strong working relationships and provide clear advice and support across teams.
  • to be self-motivated and confident working independently using initiative to resolve issues and manage competing priorities.
  • to be highly organised with strong attention to detail ensuring accuracy in all tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
  • understanding of confidentiality and data protection with experience in handling sensitive information and monitoring budgets.
