Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Senior Accountant Process Improvement on a full-time permanent basis for our Corporate Accounting team.

This position is a hybrid opportunity and is based in Regina Saskatchewan.

If you are a detail-oriented accounting professional with a passion for financial reporting budgeting and process improvement we encourage you to apply today! Youll support external reporting and audits help lead budgeting processes and drive efficiencies through system enhancements and cross-functional collaboration.

What youll do:

  • Lead the monthly internal financial reporting process including preparation of analysis and supporting documentation.
  • Prepare quarterly financial reports and Board reporting packages with related analysis.
  • Coordinate the annual budgeting process support business units with inputs and consolidate financial statements and presentations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and improve financial processes and systems for greater efficiency.
  • Support the implementation of financial systems ensuring optimal reporting functionality and providing technical accounting expertise.

Who youll work with:

Reporting to the Supervisor Financial Accounting youll guide Accounting Analysts on data-driven projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external consultants on process improvements. Youll work independently while receiving strategic support from the Supervisor Financial Accounting. This role operates in a collaborative environment that values initiative efficiency and continuous improvement.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Finance and:

  • Have a Bachelor of Commerce/Business majoring in accounting or finance.
  • Have a professional accounting designation (CPA) is required.
  • Have 6 years of relevant progressively responsible experience in both accounting and financial reporting and accounting enterprise systems. (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
