Job Title: Medical Assembler II
Location: Redmond WA 98052
Client: Medical Device Manufacturing Company
Duration: 2 years (with possible extension)
Shift: 5:00 AM 3:30 PM (Monday Thursday)
Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Proficient in assembling devices on 2 product lines
- Meet/exceed production quantity standards
- Follow written procedures per Quality System Policies
- Complete accurate records: DHRs data sheets lot control
- Take direction from Supervisor or Lead for schedules & priorities
- Learn new procedures due to product/tech updates
- Cross-train on multiple lines; may help train others
- Support Lean Manufacturing and metric improvements
- Communicate material shortages or issues
- Maintain clean and safe work environment (ergonomics safety PM)
- Follow attendance guidelines; flexible with overtime/shift changes
- Use time effectively; stay on task and avoid disruptions
- Participate in Shared Leadership (Kanban calibration metrics etc.)
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- OR 2 3 years of medical/ISO-certified device assembly without diploma
- 1 2 years of relevant medical device assembly experience required
- Able to read write and follow verbal/written instructions
- Basic math skills (add subtract multiply divide)
- Able to work in a cleanroom environment
- Strong fine motor skills; good hand-eye coordination
- Comfortable performing repetitive work
- Understanding of GDP GMP and Lean Manufacturing preferred
- Familiar with tools: microscopes calipers gauges rulers EFDs etc.
- Basic computer skills (MS Windows site-specific programs)
