Physician Assistant-Urgent Care (Permanent Role) Location: Fort Worth TX 76104
Shift: 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 24 per week
Compensation: Based on experience
Key Responsibilities: - Perform comprehensive or problem-focused physical examinations and obtain detailed medical histories.
- Order collect and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests to evaluate patient conditions and needs.
- Prescribe or recommend appropriate therapeutic treatments including medications and procedures based on clinical guidelines.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and care teams.
- Evaluate patients response to treatment and adjust plans accordingly.
- Provide counseling and education to patients and families regarding conditions treatment options medications and wellness strategies.
- Document all patient interactions treatment plans and outcomes accurately and timely.
- Consult and refer patients when conditions exceed the scope of the PAs practice.
- Perform invasive procedures within scope and as delegated by supervising physicians.
- Participate in shift coverage based on departmental needs.

Qualifications: - Education: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical or urgent care setting.
- Certification/Licensure:
- Licensed to practice as a Physician Assistant in the state of Texas.
- Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire or transfer.
