Job Description

About the Role:

Were hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer to join the Ads Insights team at Reddit. This remote contract role focuses on maintaining and enhancing our data tools and infrastructure that support advertisers agencies and internal stakeholders in analyzing trends sentiments and user interests. Your work will directly contribute to improving the platforms scalability reliability and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as an embedded engineer on the Ads Insights team participating in daily standups and team discussions.
  • Support internal and external users by diagnosing and resolving bugs and providing technical guidance.
  • Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to develop new features and improve existing tools (e.g. backend logic UI updates new metrics LLM prompt refinements).
  • Contribute to technical debt reduction and increase code test coverage to enhance long-term stability and scalability.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Strong full-stack development experience
  • Proficiency in Python and React
  • Experience with microservices architecture

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs)
  • Experience working with Google BigQuery
