Job Description

Job Summary: 52.183.17.37
Location: Birmingham Alabama United States
Responsibilities:

- Provide short-circuit analysis and breaker-duty study results.
- Determine protection requirements for interconnecting customer facilities.
- Create and update short-circuit models using customer data.
- Specify protection schemes and relays at company facilities and points of interconnection.
- Review protection schemes based on transmission stability requirements.
- Communicate study results and protection requirements to customers and internal partners.
- Participate in meetings to provide technical expertise.
- Support capital projects through Transmission System/Transformer modeling.
Required Skills & Certifications:

- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:

- 0-3 years of experience.
- Focus or studies/internships within power systems power delivery renewable energy and/or solar.
- Previous Electrical Engineering experience.
- SQL Visual Basic experience.
