Job Description
Solution IT Inc. is looking for SAP WM/IM Functional Consultant Global Template Deployment for one of its clients in Lockport NY / Travel
Job Title: SAP WM/IM Functional Consultant Global Template Deployment
Summary:
- Deployment of an inventory management global template
- Non-manufacturing sites focused solely on material procurement.
- Support standard logistics processes including:
- Goods Receipt
- Goods Issue
- Stock Transfers
- Customer Returns
- A low-complexity standardized solution aligned with the global template.
- Perform fit-gap analysis configuration testing training and go-live support
- Ensure alignment with global standards while meeting site-specific needs
- Collaborate with global and local teams for seamless implementation
Required Skills
- 5 years of experience in SAP WM and IM
- Experience with SAP global template deployments (ECC or S/4HANA)
- Strong knowledge of logistics and inventory processes
- Ability to engage with business users and gather requirements
- Hands-on experience with testing UAT and cutover activities
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience in non-manufacturing or procurement-focused environments
- Prior experience in automotive or global enterprise rollouts
- Exposure to SAP Activate methodology
Work Site: Lockport NY / Travel - 3 or 4 times for 1 week each during the project schedule
