We are currently seeking a dynamic PGT Chemistry Teacher to join our client institution delivering high-quality education in a vibrant learning environment.

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging chemistry lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
• Facilitate hands-on learning experiences and practical lab activities.
• Assess and adapt instructional methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Evaluate student performance through tests assignments and laboratory reports.
• Provide timely feedback and support to students to promote their academic growth.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance grades and progress.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance interdisciplinary learning.
• Organize and participate in departmental meetings and professional development sessions.
• Engage parents and caregivers in student learning through communication and meetings.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in chemistry education and instructional strategies.
• Implement and enforce classroom rules and policies to ensure a safe learning environment.
• Prepare students for examinations and assist with their academic goals.
• Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving through interactive class discussions.
• Participate in school events including parent-teacher conferences and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Chemistry or relevant field.
• Bachelors degree in Education or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in secondary education.
• Strong knowledge of the chemistry curriculum and educational standards.
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans and activities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Experience in utilizing technology for education and assessment.
• Culturally responsive teaching practices.
• Current teaching certification recognized in India.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and procedures.
• Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
• Positive attitude and passion for teaching chemistry.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Strong interpersonal skills and empathy towards students needs.
