Job Description
Job Title:Metal Fabricator
Location:Oklahoma City OK
Shift:MondayFriday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Pay:$18.00-$20.00/hour
Job Type:Temp to Hire
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependableMetal Fabricatorto assist welders and fabricators by preparing cutting and fitting metal and insulation materials for installation. Responsibilities include measuring cutting and securing insulation and sheet metal to cover insulated piping or structural surfaces.
Primary Duties:
- Measure and cut insulation materials to fit around structural components
- Cut sheet metal or metal jacketing to required dimensions using hand or power tools
- Assist welders with material prep positioning components and performing general labor
- Secure metal jacketing over insulation using screws bands or rivets
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow all company and site-specific safety protocols
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or lead welder/fabricator
Requirements:
- Previous experience in metal fabrication insulation or construction preferred but not required
- Proficient with tape measures and basic hand/power tools
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing bending and kneeling for extended periods
- Must have steel-toe boots and appropriate PPE (hard hat safety glasses gloves)
- Reliable transportation to job site
- Must have aReal ID
- ValidDrivers LicenseCar Insurance andCurrent Vehicle Tags
- Clean background(no felonies of any kind)
