Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Database Administrator to join our team and work 100% dedicated to one of our key pharmaceutical clients. You will be part of the Database Platforms group responsible for third-level support and continuous improvement across a range of database and cloud technologies.
This role combines deep technical knowledge with a DevOps mindset and offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-evolving environment where innovation learning and collaboration are highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
Provide expert-level support for Oracle and PostgreSQL database environments.
Automate database operations using Ansible with a strong focus on scalability and efficiency.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our platform by identifying and implementing new solutions.
Support database-related projects including containerization and migration to AWS/Azure cloud platforms.
Ensure change management processes comply with FDA-regulated environments including system validation and documentation.
Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to enhance database performance and reliability.
Requirements
Strong hands-on experience in Oracle and PostgreSQL database administration.
Experience automating database operations using Ansible.
Developer mindset with a problem-solving attitude.
Fluency in English is mandatory (written and spoken).
Ability to work collaboratively in international and cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have
Experience with container administration (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).
Knowledge of cloud platforms: AWS GCP or Azure.
Prior exposure to DevOps toolchains and pipelines.
Development experience or scripting knowledge beyond automation tools.
