Construction Inspector – Roadways & Structures

Are you ready to launch your career as a Construction Inspector for Roadway & Structures

As a Construction Inspector youll work under the guidance of experienced inspectors to perform essential inspections and documentation on roadway and structure construction projects. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting inspections of construction processes and materials to ensure compliance with maintenance contracts.
• Performing routine and moderately complex inspections of:
  • Asphalt and concrete materials and mixes
  • Pavement spreading rolling depth alignment and compaction
  • Roadway and structural conformance to plans and specifications
  • Structural materials culvert placement and foundational operations
  • Traffic control and erosion control devices
• Performing calculations and computations related to construction activities.
• Documenting contract compliance including field measurements and required reporting.

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements: 

• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience and knowledge of roadway or structure construction inspection
• Basic knowledge of construction materials and processes is a plus
• Experience with calculations and computations related to construction activities
