Job Description
Are you passionate about sales and providing exceptional customer service Were seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team full-time in Dundalk Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic retail environment where your contributions will make a real difference.
- Deliver outstanding customer service ensuring each customer receives a warm welcome and personalised assistance
- Drive sales by actively engaging with customers understanding their needs and recommending suitable products
- Maintain a clean tidy and well-stocked sales floor ensuring products are attractively displayed
- Assist in receiving unpacking and organising new stock in both the warehouse and the sales area
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently at the till
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of store presentation
- Adapt to various tasks and responsibilities as required in a fast-paced retail environment
- Potentially take ownership of a specific area within the store demonstrating initiative and leadership
Qualifications :
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
- Strong sales ability and a genuine enthusiasm for helping customers
- Proactive approach to work with the ability to take initiative
- Team player with great interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and peak trading periods
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written
- Basic numeracy skills for handling cash and processing transactions
- Physical fitness to handle stock and stand for extended periods
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic retail environment
- Previous retail experience is beneficial but not essential we value enthusiasm and the right attitude
