Job Description
We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join an ongoing high-impact programme focused on increasing production capacity. You will be working onsite with the customer supporting operations and implementing engineering improvements in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide full manufacturing engineering support across production
- Design and implement tooling and fixtures
- Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation (PFMEAs work instructions process timings)
- Lead initiatives in line balancing and flow optimisation
- Support the shop floor with day-to-day operational guidance
- Work closely with supply chain and planning teams
- Assist in transitioning from a contractor-led team to a permanent workforce
Qualifications :
Essential Experience:
- 48 years of experience in manufacturing engineering
- Strong knowledge of PFMEA line balancing and flow design
- Experience working in fast-paced production environments
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Comfortable working with limited existing documentation
- Must be eligible for UK Security Clearance
