Job Description
Job Title: Senior Data Analyst
Location: Hybrid (3 days remote) Toronto Canada
Experience: 6 Years
Role Summary: NearSource is looking for a Data Analyst to support enterprise-scale data engineering and analytics initiatives. This role focuses on optimizing data pipelines profiling non-compliant user behavior and enhancing automated campaign performance for a Fortune 500 product company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop scalable ETL pipelines and manage databases to ensure efficient and secure data operations
- Engineer data models and workflows aligned to business goals and campaign needs
- Define and enforce data quality standards and validation protocols
- Analyze user datasets to uncover patterns indicating non-compliance or misuse
- Deliver insights and actionable strategies through advanced data profiling and analysis
- Optimize data infrastructure to enable automated campaign deployment and tracking
- Improve system performance and scalability for high-volume campaign execution
Must-Have Skills:
- Proficient in developing ETL pipelines and managing complex databases
- Hands-on with advanced SQL and Spark
- Experienced with Airflow Git Snowflake and DBT
- Familiar with Salesforce and Adobe Analytics platforms
- Bachelors or Masters in Statistics Mathematics Computer Science or a related field
- Strong analytical mindset with a history of data-driven decision making
- Excellent communication business judgment and stakeholder management
- Skilled in BI tools and Excel
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Familiarity with Power BI dashboards
- Exposure to data science ML or MLOps environments
Certifications: Relevant technical certifications are considered an asset
