POSITION - Union:Meter Representative A
NUMBER OF POSITIONS: 2
LOCATION: CT - East Hartford - Meadow St
HOURLY RATE: $40.35 - $47.23
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be able to read write and speak English effectively.
Must be able to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
- Must have a good degree of mechanical aptitude.
- Must have a MVD license and a good driving record.
- Must be physically able to perform the duties required.
DUTIES:
- *Turn off remove reset change turn on gas meters and combinations thereof in accordance with established procedures. This includes the re-lighting of gas appliances and the resetting and/or adjustment of service regulators if necessary.
- *Inspect gas facilities on customers premises for safety and adherence to safety codes.
- Assists other field men in related duties.
