Job Description

Ranch Hand / Hunting Guide Position

We are currently seeking a full-time Ranch Hand/Hunting Guide to join our team on a working ranch located in southwest San Saba County near Fredonia Texas. This person should have a passion for the outdoors and a service-oriented mind.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Guide guest hunters

Clean and dress harvested wildlife

Maintain ranch infrastructure including fences ponds roads corrals water systems

housing deer blinds and buildings (repair and upkeep)

Clean and maintain ranch equipment vehicles and facilities

Fill feeders

Conduct deer surveys (helicopter and spotlight)

Operate and maintain heavy equipment

Perform welding tasks

Handle cattle (minimal)

Assist with habitat management (e.g. brush control and chemical application)

Support general day-to-day ranch operations

Requirements:

Willing to undergo and pass a background check and drug screening

Guiding experience preferred (willing to train the right candidate)

Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in both hot and cold conditions

Ability to lift and carry over 75 lbs

Must be hospitable trustworthy self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team
