Job Description
To identify strengths and weaknesses of students birth through 21 years of age withinoccupational performance areas as they occur within the educational setting. To assiststudents in benefiting from their educational programs and functioning as independently aspossible by providing intervention and/or consultation services. The occupational therapistapplies these domains of knowledge to the educational community through a problem-solvingperspective for children birth through 21.
Education/Experience
- Completion of an accredited program in Occupational Therapy.
- Current license from the Iowa Department of Public Health to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Iowa.
- Statement of Professional Recognition from the Iowa Department of Education.
- Experience or interest in pediatric occupational therapy is desired.
- Such additions alternatives or deletions as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
Salary & Benefits
- Full-time 8 hrs/190 days
