Job Description
Vita Inclinata is looking for an experienced Production Support Supervisor to create manage and continuously improve critical documents and production management tools used by the Vita Production Team to manufacture and ship products to our customers. Such documents include Standard Work Instructions Training Guides and Standard Operating Procedures among others. This role is vital for ensuring the Production Department always has current clear effective guides for manufacturing best practices safely efficiently and to the highest levels of quality.
In this role you will also be responsible for partnering with the Quality team to implement ISO 9001:2015 policies documents and practices that pertain to Production activities.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:
- Create Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) for each production assembly process to be used by members of the Production team.
- Maintain SWIs and ensure they are kept current with process and equipment changes.
- Partner with Manufacturing Engineering to assess impact of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) on production processes and associated documentation. Help drive effective implementation of ECOs to ensure continuity of operations.
- Develop and maintain training guides and material for production team members and related functions and activities.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for proper use of production equipment tools and systems that provide for safe and effective operations.
- Partner with Vitas Quality function to implement production-related documentation (SWIs SOPs training reports etc.) required to achieve ISO 9001:2015 certification.
- Partner with Quality and Production stakeholders to continuously improve the Quality Management System as it relates to production activities.
- Partner with Manufacturing Engineering to identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes and the associated documentation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education & Experience
- A bachelors degree in a relevant field like production management industrial engineering supply chain management or a related area is preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing quality assurance/control inventory or supply chain management or a related area in a manufacturing setting is required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing and production processes quality control 5S and safety standards is essential.
- Experience designing documenting implementing and improving production processes is required.
- Demonstrated experience in training others in a production environment required.
- 3 years creating technical documentation and training material required.
- 3 years working within a Change Management/Change Control workflow ensuring all supporting documents tools and training aids are provided.
Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills are needed to meet deadlines prioritize tasks and develop and adjust schedules promptly.
- Be able to prioritize production needs processes and related tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to measure actual work performance compared to expected work performance identify gaps and root causes and develop solutions to close performance gaps.
- Troubleshoot and drive root cause analysis to quickly identify and resolve production issues arising from training or documentation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills which are vital for conveying instructions providing feedback and collaborating with various stakeholders.
- Excellent attention to detail is crucial for maintaining production standards and ensuring that production processes run smoothly.
- Have a Continuous Improvement mindset focused on identifying and implementing improvements to production processes and on-time delivery.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office / platforms for creating technical and training documentation is essential.
Compensation
In compliance with Colorados Equal Pay for Equal Work Act the compensation for this role is $75000 - $85000 per year; however Vita Inclinata Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience education/training and key skills.
