JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a highly skilled Part-timeProduction Technician IV to support manufacturing testing and assembly operations for fiber-based AV and medical device systems. This challenging role requires precision electro-mechanical and optical assembly skills a solid understanding of quality and regulatory standards and the ability to interpret technical documents accurately. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring product quality reliability and performance in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 requirements.
BASIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform complex electro-mechanical and optical assemblies using hand tools fixtures and microscopes.
Interpret and execute detailed assembly procedures engineering drawings and bills of materials (BOMs).
Conduct in-process and final testing including Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and functional verification of systems.
Troubleshoot and repair systems based on test results ensuring product conformance to specifications.
Maintain accurate production documentation including travelers non-conformance records and rework logs.
Support line setup calibration and preventative maintenance of test equipment and fixtures.
Adhere to ESD safety cleanroom protocols and manufacturing best practices.
Assist in training junior technicians and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing and testing processes.

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Associate degree or technical certification preferred.
Experience working in ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 certified facilities.
8 years of hands-on experience in mechanical or electronic assembly including inspection testing or troubleshooting of complex systems in a regulated manufacturing setting.
Preferred: 8 years of Medical Device or Aerospace assembly experience
Preferred: 8 years of small component soldering experience.
Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced detail-driven environment.
SKILLS ABILITIES & ATTRIBUTES:
Proven ability to solder and assemble fine-pitch components under a microscope.
Good at following instructions
Fluent in English
Basic written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy.
Ability to commit and work under deadlines
Willingness and demonstrated ability to learn and work in new technology domains.
Must be able to work in a challenging and engaging work environment that promotes teamwork creativity accountability and professional development.

PAY RANGE:
Hourly: $31- $35
