Job Description

General Information

The Cowichan Valley Regional District is now accepting applications from prospective candidates to join our organizationas a Clerk Receptionist in a temporary part time position of up to 22 months in the Cowichan Lake Recreation Division within the Community Services Department. This posting is to fill a maternity leave vacancy. Reporting to the Manager Cowichan Lake Recreation and supervised by the Secretary III the Clerk Receptionist primarily performs a variety of reception clerical and administrative duties and tasks for Cowichan Lake Recreation.

Qualifications

  • Secondary school graduation plus successful completion of a clerical / secretarial training program or an equivalent combination of education training and experience.
  • One (1) year of practical experience in an administrative or clerical environment preferably in a local government recreational facility setting.
  • First Aid Level I with CPR
  • Class 5 BC Drivers License
