Responsibilities
Located at Community Regional home to the only Level I Trauma Center between Los Angeles and Sacramento. Our Radiology Therapeutic team plays a critical role in delivering diagnostic and therapeutic imaging services through nuclear medicine procedures.
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with safety protocols while ensuring accurate imaging and high-quality diagnostic studies.
- Perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures and assist in therapeutic treatments under the direction of a Nuclear Medicine Physician.
- Conduct routine quality control testing and preventive maintenance on imaging equipment to ensure regulatory compliance and optimal functionality.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver compassionate dependable care to a diverse patient population while supporting the continuum of care.
- Uphold standards set by state federal and accrediting agencies to ensure safe and compliant imaging practices.

Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Graduate from an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program or Associates Degree in related field required
Licenses and Certifications
- BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
- CTNM - State of California Certified Tech Nuclear Medicine all scopes including venipuncture required
- Must have one of the following primary certification:
- NMTCB(CNMT) - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- ARRT(N) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology
Additional post-primary advanced certification preferred
- ARRT(CT) - American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Computed Tomography
- NMTCB(PET) - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Positron Emission Tomography
- NMTCB(NCT) - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Nuclear Cardiology Technologist
