QUALIFICATIONS
Education: 60 Credit Hours of Higher Education (required)
Be able to demonstrate theacademic progress of students under your leadership and articulate the methodsused to achieve those results
Possess valid IllinoisParaprofessional Educator License (PARA) or equivalent
Must be authorized to workin the United States (required)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKINGCONDITIONS
The nature of the work requires an ability to operate standard businessoffice equipment collect compile and prepare work documents set-up andmaintain work files and an ability to communicate and exchange demands include the ability to stand bend reach high and low stoopand walk around the classroom 60% of the day. In addition candidates must beable to lift and/or push and pull 15 to 20 lbs. for short periods of time andwalk up and down stairs several times a day.
Majority of work isperformed in a general school environment. Position requires availability forextended hours plus non-traditional hours required to perform job duties. Alsorequires participation and attendance at organization-sponsored events andmeetings.
