Role: Bar Manager
Location: Leigh
Hours: Minimum 37.5 hours per week (includes evenings & weekends)
Job Type: Full-Time Permanent

Ready to lead from behind the bar Were looking for a hands-on people-focused Bar Manager to take ownership of our bar operations lead a great team and ensure every member and guest enjoys a welcoming top-tier experience.
Whether its a matchday buzz a private function or just a laid-back evening pint youll be the face of the bar keeping things running smoothly compliantly and with a smile.
What youll be doing:
- Running day-to-day bar operations like a well-oiled machine.
- Leading training and motivating a team of bar staff to deliver brilliant service.
- Keeping the bar fully stocked organised and compliant at all times.
- Collaborating with our Events Co-ordinator Catering Provider and Treasurer to support smooth event delivery and accurate financial tracking.
- Making sure every customer leaves happy and comes back for more.
- Managing rotas ordering stock controlling budgets and handling POS systems.
- Driving promotions and seasonal specials to keep things fresh and fun.
- Upholding hygiene health & safety and licensing standards with pride.
What were looking for:
- 1 years experience as a Bar Manager or Bar Supervisor in a hospitality setting.
- A natural leader who can get the best out of their team.
- Great customer service instincts warm calm and proactive.
- Strong understanding of bar operations stock control and cash handling
- Comfortable working evenings and weekends in a fast-paced environment.
- Sound knowledge of food hygiene safety regulations and licensing laws.
- Confident with POS systems compliance and financial reporting.
Bonus points if you have:
- A Personal Licence
- Experience in event-based bar service (e.g. sports functions community clubs)
