Location: Birmingham in line with our Agile Working Policy. You will need to be able to work from the Birmingham office 2 days per week/office if within the commuting distance to be attended as often as business needs require.

What we need...

The Junior Technical Consultant is a member of the Technical Services Team with responsibility for the quality of deliverables for the customer and the business enabling achievement of the companys objectives within the business plan. The Junior Technical Consultant provides quality training and technical support to Service Delivery Managers and Project Managers in the delivery of production and client related activities.

The Junior Technical Consultant has responsibility for supporting the technical delivery of a portfolio of projects in compliance of TerraQuests standards and systems.

The Junior Technical Consultant must assist in the training mentoring and supporting of project teams to ensure all quality and technical tasks are completed to the highest standards and on larger projects provide support to technical experts in their responsibilities to the project team and client.

The position will be as a member of a dedicated team delivering specialist land and property services to high profile clients undertaking major business process infrastructure and regeneration development projects.

The Junior Technical Consultant will report directly to the Head of Technical Services and will be responsible for ensuring customers are satisfied with the service provided.

What you will be doing

• To ensure that all projects are operated to the highest levels of quality & compliance in line with defined standards procedures and TerraQuests Business Management System and meet customer quality expectations.
• To support the provision of training to the project team(s) ensuring all members have the appropriate skills to perform allocated tasks.
• To measure report and advise on technical quality of service deliverables.
• Ensuring the business meets its contractual requirements to its clients and maintains a customer advocacy rating of excellent.
• Delivering operational excellence through a right first-time approach whilst maintaining high productivity efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensure that a healthy and safe working environment is prevalent at all times in line with the BMS and external accreditations.
• Promote a secure environment to safeguard both TerraQuest and its clients data and interests in the line with the BMS and external security accreditations.
• To maintain current and accurate management information from which regularly report at agreed intervals on a project-by-project basis.
• Quality.
• Technical Risks and Issues.
• To support project closure activities including documenting Lessons Learned and Follow-on Action Recommendations.

• Provide technical support to project teams across all business areas as required.
• To undertake any other tasks and duties within the scope and grade of the post.

What we are looking for

Must-haves:

• At least 1 years experience in a leadership or task management role.
• Experience of working in data production and quality control environment.
• Experience of land ownership or planning applications subject area.
