Job Description

You are a nursing expert and you already have obtained a professional qualification in your home country whilst contributing to health and nursing care Alternatively do you know someone abroad with a professional qualification in health and nursing care who would like to come to Germany and work here

  • Assisting in the assessment and determination of nursing needs and caring for patients on the ward
  • Participating in nursing rounds and supporting colleagues
  • Documenting the nursing process and assisting with material supply
  • Providing direct patient care
  • Contributing to the development of nursing processes and ward procedures
  • Completed nursing education obtained abroad
  • Recognition notice from the Bavarian State Office for Nursing
  • German language skills at a minimum of level B1 with a willingness to continuously improve your language proficiency
  • Enthusiasm and strong motivation to work in our team and support our patients
  • Friendliness a sense of responsibility and professionalism
  • Good interpersonal skills in dealing with patients
  • High willingness to learn
  • Motivation and discipline to complete the recognition process promptly
  • Support from the Office for International Healthcare Professionals assisting with organizational and administrative questions during the recognition process and guidance on choosing between the knowledge examination or adaptation course
  • Accompanied German language course offered during the recognition procedure
  • Practical trainers specifically assigned to support your professional onboarding and knowledge development ensuring you are well-prepared for your daily work
  • Additional qualified and personalized training provided by your team of experienced colleagues
  • Long-term career perspective with Augsburgs largest employer including a permanent contract upon successful recognition
  • Compensation according to the collective agreement (TV-L) including bonuses for work on Sundays public holidays and night shifts
  • Company pension scheme and annual special payment
  • 30 days of annual vacation plus up to 6 additional vacation days for shift work
  • Regulated working hours (38.5 hours/week) with a working time account and collectively agreed salary increases
