Job Description
Location: Humboldt County CA
Hours:9 AM - 5:30 PM on call
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Start Date:Continuously recruiting (Depending on clients needs)
Pay Range:$19/hour
Job Summary:
The Delivery Driver is responsible for transporting flower products safely and efficiently between company facilities and local farms. This role requires a clean driving record adherence to safety protocols and compliance with state and local flower transportation regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely transport flower products to and from company facilities and dispensaries in a timely manner.
Follow all legal and regulatory requirements for the transportation of flower products including secure packaging and proper documentation.
Ensure the delivery vehicle is properly maintained clean and safe to operate. Perform regular vehicle checks and report any issues to management.
Maintain accurate delivery logs including delivery times product details and any discrepancies.
Interact professionally with dispensary staff and other stakeholders during product deliveries.
Adhere to all safety and security protocols to protect both the driver and the product during transit.
Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries.
Requirements:
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
Previous driving or delivery experience preferred.
Familiarity with local routes and traffic regulations.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to handle flower products in compliance with state and local regulations.
Must pass any required background checks per local and state cannabis regulations.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and secure products safely during transport.
Strong communication skills for coordination with team members and dispensary staff.
Due to industry requirements candidates must be 21 years or older.
