This individual will oversee all accounting functions and play a critical role in financial strategy audit readiness budgeting and compliance.
Supervise and mentor accounting team members.
Promote cross-departmental collaboration and financial accountability.
Organize accounting workflows to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Conduct regular team meetings to encourage communication and alignment.
Serve as Director on Duty and be available for on-call responsibilities.
Prepare and deliver timely monthly financial reports.
Manage all general ledger functions including A/R A/P payroll and fixed assets.
Oversee billing processes for both independent living and health center services.
Reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts on a regular basis.
Maintain and reconcile Master Trust schedules and other financial records.
Support and manage the annual budgeting process.
Lead annual audit and ensure compliance with GAAP.
Ensure timely submission of required financial reports to regulatory agencies.
Monitor internal controls and tax-related processes including payroll tax filings.
Present financial updates and recommendations to executive leadership.
Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or related field required.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on accounting leadership experience.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
Proficient in general ledger A/P A/R payroll and financial reporting.
Skilled in financial analysis budgeting and audit preparation.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication leadership and organizational skills.
Experience in healthcare senior living or nonprofit environments is a plus
