Registered Nurse Labor & Delivery
Location: Athena Medtech
Department: Labor and Delivery
Shift: Day Shift 7:00 AM 7:30 PM
Schedule: Monday Friday (3 Days/12-Hour Shifts)
Weekly Hours: 36 Hours
Athena Medtech is currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with extensive experience in Labor and Delivery. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of maternal-fetal care and demonstrate strong clinical judgment excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing safe high-quality care to patients throughout the childbirth experience.
Key Responsibilities:-
Develop implement and monitor individualized patient care plans

Assess and document patient conditions and communicate findings appropriately

Serve as the primary coordinator across disciplines to ensure integrated patient care

Accurately carry out physician and nursing orders in a timely manner

Collaborate with the healthcare team to support effective discharge planning and patient education

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing required

Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license

Strong working knowledge of labor delivery postpartum and newborn care practices

Exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving abilities

Proficient in managing high-acuity obstetric cases

Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems

Ability to remain calm under pressure and deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment
