Job Description
Job Summary (Engineer Vendor Development):
- Select and develop new vendors for manufacturing components (sheet metal plastic rubber)
- Manage part development and ensure quality standards
- Conduct costing analysis and negotiate prices with suppliers
- Coordinate and follow up with vendors for commercial activities and necessary documentation
- Implement and adhere to NTFI PUR procedures and systems
- Perform regular supplier visits for process and quality improvements
- Ensure timely procurement and follow-up of components and materials
- Maintain ISO & IATF: 16949 related documentation for the Purchase & Vendor Development department
- Prepare and submit monthly MIS reports
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Utilize SAP and MS Office (Word Excel PowerPoint) for daily tasks and reporting
- Apply knowledge of first aid fire safety and emergency response as required
