Job Description

PT Acute Care RN - 8H Days - 1YR *No Previous Perm/Staff* Shift Details: 5/8s Days 08:00-17:00 All staff rotate weekends. The position optimally would be Tuesday - Saturday if anyone is interested. There is flexibility as well. we also honor time off as long as done in contract. Years of Experience: 1 Year Unit Accepts First Time Travelers - If they have some acute care experience. Certifications: Rhode Island State Liscense Float Required Patient Age Group: Adults Geriatrics Patient Diagnoses: The department has a full time lead PT who will be onsite to train and assist. The caseload is acute care only. NO outpatient. They have 3 FTE PT positions 2 f/t PTAs. The position is not assigned to one specific unit. Cases vary from ortho ICU ED medical surgical etc. Special Procedures/Unit Details: All staff rotate weekends. the position optimally would be Tuesday - Saturday if anyone is interested. there is flexibility as well. we also honor time off as long as done in contract. Skills: Assessment Discharge Evaluation Reassessments Gait Belt Rolling Walker Sit to Stand Lift Sliding Boards Soft/Hard Collars Standard Walker Extremity Mobilization Gait Training Hip Fractures Injuries Knee Injuries/Tendinopathy Post Op Cervical Surgery Post Op Shoulder Repair Post Op Spinal Surgery Total Hip Replacement Total Knee Replacement Lifting and transfer
