Job Description
We are seeking a (Permanent Respiratory Therapist) for a Travel/Full time assignment in Norfolk VA 23502. Both local and traveler candidates are welcome to apply.
- Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 35 hours per week
- Pay Rate: $36.00 - $45.00/hr
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate treat and manage patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions.
- Administer therapies such as oxygen nebulizer treatments and ventilator support.
- Conduct diagnostic tests (e.g. spirometry arterial blood gases) and adjust treatments based on patient response.
- Educate patients and families on respiratory care and equipment use.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to create and adjust treatment plans.
Qualifications:
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Virginia.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) certification.
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Respiratory Therapy.
- Strong clinical skills and attention to detail.
