Job Description
Location: Waxahachie TX 75165
Shift: 8-hr Day 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: (40 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience
- Prepare procedure rooms and organize instruments equipment treatment trays and supplies.
- Clean and decontaminate instruments containers and patient equipment using approved detergents and disinfectants.
- Operate sterilization equipment including semi-automatic and automatic washers and sterilizers.
- Follow all hospital and regulatory safety environmental and infection control standards.
- Receive stock rotate and inspect inventory; remove expired goods.
- Fill and distribute internal supply orders.
- Pick up reusable trays and equipment from various departments.
- Maintain inventory records and documentation accurately.
- Support departmental efficiency through timely sterilization and distribution processes.
- Knowledge of equipment and instrument sterilization methods preferred.
- Familiarity with basic medical terminology.
- Ability to comply with safety and infection control protocols.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with clinical staff.
- Attention to detail and time management skills.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Less than 1 year of experience required.
